Description
These wasabi wafer cookies are a savory and spicy treat that pairs well with a cheese platter or as a snack. The wasabi paste gives a distinct spicy flavor and the buttery dough a perfect balance.

- 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, at room temperature
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp wasabi paste
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, beat the butter, Parmesan cheese and wasabi paste together until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder and salt. Slowly add this to the butter mixture, mixing until just combined.
- Roll out the dough between two sheets of parchment paper to a thickness of 1/8 inch.
- Using a cookie cutter, cut out the cookies and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake the cookies for 12-15 minutes, or until they are golden brown.
- Remove the cookies from the oven and let them cool on a cooling rack.

Notes
Note: Be careful with the amount of wasabi paste you use, as it can be quite spicy. You can adjust the amount of wasabi paste to your desired level of spice
