Description

If you like chocolate, then this recipe is for you. You’ll only find rich and decadent chocolate fondue like this at fancy parties and expensive restaurants…and now at your home too!


Ingredients

Scale
  1. 10 oz. semisweet or bittersweet high-quality chocolate, chopped
  2. ⅓ cup heavy cream
  3. ⅓ cup milk
  4. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  5. A pinch of salt
  6. Your choice of dippers (fresh fruits, cookies, cake chunks, brownie bites, pretzels, etc.)
  7. Optional: mixins (sprinkles, chopped nuts, etc.)

Other Kitchen tools you will need:

  1. Fondue pot
  2. Fondue forks or skewers 

Instructions

  1. Add the chopped chocolates to a fondue pot.
  2. Turn the pot on a low heat setting.
  3. Add the heavy cream and milk.
  4. Stir as soon as the chocolate starts to melt until it melts completely. Reduce the heat if necessary.
  5. Add in a pinch of sea salt.
  6. Serve the chocolate fondue with a platter of dippable, mixins, and fondue forks or skewers.
